The World’s Best Culture Certification is awarded to senior living organizations by Drive, a consultancy firm specializing in workplace culture within the aging services field. To earn Drive’s World’s Best Culture Certification, we had to meet key benchmarks using the globally acclaimed Barrett Values Centre’s Culture Values Assessment. This assessment has been used worldwide to evaluate companies like Mastercard, Coca-Cola, Prudential, Wegmans, PWC, and Volvo. With an extensive 25-year database and 4 million culture assessments, the Culture Values Assessment is a robust tool for measuring workplace culture. Drive stands out as the leading user of the assessment in the aging services field.

With a remarkable organizational culture score of 89, Cappella of Pueblo West has far surpassed the minimum required score of 70 to earn the World’s Best Culture designation, along with the global average of 51 and Drive’s senior living communities average of 69. The overall culture score is calculated by assessing team members’ feedback on the Culture Values Assessment regarding their personal values, the current values of the community, and the desired values of their ideal workplace. The alignment of these values reflects the health and strength of our organization.

In analyzing the survey results, we were particularly pleased to observe that our community’s top current values are caring, coaching/mentoring, and compassion. We see these values at work every day in our community – from how we look out for one another to how each member of the community is encouraged to grow.
